As always, EarthPol continues to grow, evolve, and innovate. February brought the release of the Wilds and Wonders Update, introducing exploration-focused systems like NationPassports, Player Reputations, and improvements to TownyPorts and the lobby experience. Our community remained active across platforms, with steady growth on Discord, YouTube, and TikTok, while in-game engagement continued with our new interactive features.

In this post, we’ll discuss major server updates, show new developments, share key performance metrics, and provide a look ahead at what the coming spring and summer have in store for EarthPol.

The Wilds and Wonders Update is here! We, the EarthPol Development Team, are excited to share Update Cycle #3 with you, bringing a wide range of new features, improvements, and long-awaited fixes to the server.

This cycle focuses specifically on rewarding exploration, adding unique systems that encourage interaction across the world, and resolving long-standing bugs that have affected player experience over time.

Update Cycle #3 is built around a simple idea: EarthPol should feel alive, connected, and worth exploring. Whether it’s traveling to new nations, meeting new players, using improved travel systems, or engaging with community-driven mechanics, nearly every feature in this update is designed to make movement, interaction, and discovery a natural part of gameplay.

While Bustun was setting up a new development environment, an accidental server reset occurred on EarthPol. The intention was to relocate our development setup into Bustun’s home lab on the other side of the country. This move was designed to free up storage space on both our main system and backup infrastructure, enabling us to fix ongoing backup issues.
