Server Growth

This month, we were pleased with the server’s continued growth. It’s been great to see new towns created and welcome so many friendly faces to our community. Coming into November, we anticipated slower growth due to school schedules; however, those projections were quickly proven wrong.

With winter break coming in December, we expect this momentum to continue, giving everyone more time to build, explore, and participate in our amazing community. Below are performance indicators of this month's growth:

2,679
Total Players in November
▲ 7.2% above target
1,214
New Players
▲ 5.6% above target
131

▲ 4.8% above target
130
Total Nations
▲ 0.8% above target
562
Total Towns
▲ 1.3% above target
11,953

November has been a month of meaningful growth for EarthPol, and the impact goes far beyond the metrics. New players are arriving every day, bringing fresh energy, ideas, and creativity to the server. As we head into December, this momentum gives us confidence that the coming month will be even more active and vibrant.

Overall, EarthPol achieved approximately 138.5K total views across platforms this month, with YouTube and TikTok driving most of the engagement. November has set a solid foundation for continued growth into December, with opportunities to expand reach, strengthen community engagement, and further amplify our presence across all social channels.

Events

This month, we celebrated Goatleaf’s ascension to Prince of Hungary with a spectacular event! Players enjoyed fireworks, free food and drinks, poolside fun, and a massive drop party, featuring 1,000 gold ingots and 3,000 gold worth of items for attendees. The festivities brought the community together for a memorable day of fun and celebration.

EarthPol Party

Additionally, players gathered in New York this month for a special watch party of the musical Hamilton, enjoying the story, songs, and performances together in-game. The event created a fun, shared experience, sparking conversations, laughter, and a love for the arts within the EarthPol community.

Developments

Vote Rewards

  • Introducing Vote Rewards: Our new vote rewards system allows for players to have more choice in how they are rewarded for voting for our server. Upon voting, players will receive a vote token which can be used to redeem a vote crate. Vote Rewards
  • Vote Rarity: As part of the vote rewards system, players will get to choose rewards that range from Common to Legendary.

SiegeWar

  • Siege Movement Restriction: Players in peaceful towns engaged in a siege (as attacker or defender) cannot enter non-peaceful towns until the siege ends or their town loses peaceful status.
  • Siege Scoreboards: A new system will track personal and global stats for each siege, including kills, deaths, damage dealt, potions thrown, TNT Carts used, and banner captures, with in-game summaries and leaderboards posted after each session. In the future, we will also be introducing a global stats profile that tracks your performance across all sieges.
  • SiegeWar HUD Realtime-Updates: SiegeWar HUD will now update automatically. In order to see the SiegeWar Hud system, use the /sw hud [siege] command.
  • Expanded Blacklist of Commands in SiegeZones: /tpahere, /tpa and /home and /sethome are now blocked in Siege Zones (including claims) to prevent teleport abuse on banners. Previously, Folia allowed these commands despite plugin restrictions, but the new addon listener will enforce this change.
  • Set Drop Protection: Players will no longer drop sets inside their own town, and the 4-chunk radius for keep-inventory will soon only protect set drops outside town boundaries.
  • Peacefulness Disabled with Debt: If your town goes below a balance of 0 gold in your town, your peaceful status will be removed.
  • Surface-to-Air Fireball Buff: Damage increased from 5.5 hearts to 7 hearts.

Quality of Life

  • Nation Flags on BlueMap: Nation flags can now be displayed on your capital town in BlueMap! Leaders can link their account, upload a 256x128 PNG on the EarthPol Flag Uploader and showcase their nation's flag for additional diplomacy and roleplay. Update
  • Towny Menus: The new /townymenu command allows you to manage your Town, Nation, Plots, and Residents through a simple interactive menu.
  • Guide Improvements: We are further organizing our guides to be more accessible, with our recent improvements targeting the Guide Hub and Custom Recipe pages. These pages now also include search bars for easier fuctionality!
  • Improved Copper Rates: Mining copper with Fortune now yields significantly more drops, making it easier to gather resources for your builds.
  • Short Login Exemption: Players logged in under 10 minutes no longer count as “recently online” for Mayorship or Honor Point checks, preventing brief logins from holding land.

Anticheat improvements

  • Anticheat Update: NPC checks and silent-damage mode have been disabled to improve gameplay.
note

Minecraft 1.21.8+ is strongly recommended for PvP.

API Update

Recently, we added the following endpoints to our EarthPol API:

  • /voting: Provides detailed information about voting, vote parties and historical data.
  • /sieges: Provides live details of active sieges, battle sessions and etc.

These new endpoints will help the community as they build their own tools, such as vote party trackers, siege update boards, or custom notifiers. You can learn more about these endpoints and how they operate by reading our API documentation.

Bug Fixes

  • TradeWar: Fixed an issue that prevented tariffs, embargoes, and sanctions from being issued.
  • TNE Gold Bug: The issue causing town and nation bank gold to disappear randomly has been resolved.
  • Improved Ender Pearl Behavior: Pearls now cancel less often, particularly on small blocks like bushes and flowers.

Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, December is shaping up to be our strongest month yet. With the holiday season, we have a full lineup of events and new features designed to bring the community together. At the same time, our team will be pushing development as hard as possible, improving our backend systems, finalizing our 2026 agenda, and building on the progress we’ve already made this year. Every effort this month reflects our commitment to discipline, unity, and excellence. EarthPol will continue setting the standard with focus, perseverance, and momentum, that remains unmatched.
